Keystone HELP Loans up to $35,000 Available
While funding previously committed to the consumer energy program by 2008's Act 1 Energy Legislation was not included in this year's final budget, Keystone HELP loans will continue to be available at this time. The new funding in the budget would have permitted further expansion of the program to meet the increasing consumer demand for energy efficiency home improvements. Should this increasing demand outpace existing funding for the program, loan availability could be limited
Pending Rebates Applications will expire November 30, 2009:
Please note, the final date for rebate applications was August 4, 2009. Applicants whose applications were received by Keystone HELP on or before that date and whose rebates are still pending must have their completed rebate package, with all contractors documents submitted by November 30, 2009 in order to receive a rebate.
A new series of the popular Home Performance 101 Training for Contractors began November 10 at AFC First's Green Energy Center in Allentown with additional dates to be announced shortly. This one day training allows Approved Keystone HELP contractors to achieve the "Trained" status and be able to perform work under all loan programs.
